Becky’s Greeley City Government responsibilities are those functions related to “Community Building,” and she has added the guidance of the Creative District, which means she works with a team to Promote of area Creatives as a part of the Greeley Sense of Place and Culture
Becky’s presentation will offer an overview of key new City construction activities in Downtown. In addition, she’ll include a brief overview of the accomplishments and planned activities associated with the Greeley Creative District. which also encompasses this area.
As an interested business member of this community you will take away:
1. Awareness of City Government Construction activities
2. Understanding of the new Downtown Hotel Project
3. Appreciation of the role of the Greeley Creative District as a stimulator of area economic development.
Becky Safarik has worked at the City since 1978 in a variety of positions ranging from redevelopment planner, Urban Renewal Secretary, Interim Parks and Recreation Director, Poudre Trail staff support, to Community Development Director, and Assistant City Manager over Community Building operations.
She is also the President of the Greeley Creative District, a 17-member non-profit organization and she is currently serving on the United Way Board of Directors.
She is a wife, mother and a great boss!
